Nice 90Hz display
Though slightly inferior to what we have now been accustomed to, it generally is a great display. Here, you also get a 90Hz refresh rate. Immerse yourself in the large 6.56-inch Infinity-U Display of Oppo A76. This IPS LCD has but a 720 x 1612 resolution and brightness levels with a maximum of 480 nits. You can comfortably (kinda) use this phone outside. Overall this is a noteworthy display thanks to a full-frontal glass, edge-to-edge screen. Buy mostly 90Hz. The tiny dot at the top left corner is where its selfie camera can be found. I believe the name for it is a punch-hole. It is however only fair to mention that a 720 x 1612 pixels resolution really isn’t the best three out there.
Performance
For the performance of Oppo A76 which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G (6 nm) chipset backed by 6GB RAM. The performance will be absolutely fine straight away. And with ColorOS 11.1 experience seems pretty smooth on the whole. As for storage, where you get but one to pick which is 128 GB (UFS 2.1). The good news is that you also got a separate slot for microSD memory cards up to 1TB. On the security side as well, it’s an edge-mounted fingerprint sensor built into that power button right.
Fixing our attention now to the software department of Oppo A76 is ColorOS 11.1 which is based on Android 11. There are tons of customization options here where you can change icon styles, app layout, fingerprint style, change font, and colors. There’s also an app drawer option in the settings and you can easily adjust the navigation buttons the way you want them to be arranged. As for the main cameras, there is a 13 MP, f/2.2, 26mm (wide), 1/3.06″, 1.12µm, PDAF main and a secondary 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth). The camera features present here are LED flash, HDR, and panorama just to mention a few.
Cameras
Design-wise these would appear to be some of the best cameras in this price bracket. But performance-wise the case is different. Save for the fact that it shoots 1080p@30fps with both main and selfie shooters, the Oppo A76 does not have so much more to showcase. But at least its selfie camera takes some nice shots, to be honest. Say cheese while taking selfies with the 8 MP wide camera lens, will you? Video recording with it is also 1080p@30fps.
Battery
Since Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G (6 nm) chipset is energy efficient, the battery while 5,000 mAh battery of Oppo A76 is more than you actually imagine it to be. It should certainly see you through a full day on a single charge. And when the phone is fully drained, you’ve got 33W wired charging support here.
